Today State Senator Jim Lewis (District 45) honored Gregory W. Curlin on his election to the position of 2010 President-Elect of the National Association of Agricultural Educators with House Concurrent Resolution 68. Curlin has taught agricultural science and business at Switzerland County HS for 18 years and has served the state of Indiana tirelessly in the area of agricultural education and along with his wife Becky and sons Ethan Michael and Levi Robert live and operate a small family farm in Vevay, Indiana.

The author, cast members, and director of “Wilderness Plots” were also honored today by State Senator Vi Simpson with House Concurrent Resolution 69. “Wilderness Plots” is a musical tribute to the early pioneer settlement of the Midwest and embodies the rich history and artistic excellence of the State of Indiana.
