On Friday, the Indiana Department of Workforce Development (DWD) announced Indiana’s November unemployment rate dipped to 7.3 percent.
The national unemployment dropped to 7.0 percent, remaining stubbornly lower than Indiana’s jobless rate. Ohio’s unemployment rate ticked down slightly to 7.4 percent, a 0.1 point decrease. The unemployment rate in Kentucky dipped slightly to 8.2 percent. Illinois and Michigan’s November jobless rates both dropped 2 points to 8.7 percent and 8.8 percent respectively.
County with the highest unemployment rate: Fayette at 9.9%
County with the lowest unemployment rate: Dubois at 5.2%
